new blog……show friday at Lincolns own Zoo bar. The killigans and 4020. Whenever we hook up its sure to be one hell of a big mess at the end of the night….The zoo only holds around 150 people, and I will personally guarantee this show will be packed to the brim. Come see Lincolns craziest drinkinest roots punk bands on the best sound system in town….9pm friday the 15th.

We are currently shopping around studios to record our new album in. We are hoping to get in the later part of october, and hope to have this out by early next year. We are hoping to release around 10 tracks. We really want to focus on some great roots/folk punk sounds, and also showcase edwin on the pipes on a song or two.
Ive been wanting to start this up for awhile now, but havent had much time. I go the idea from an old Link80 website. Im going to try and introduce it here…..
FAN OF THE MONTH:
basically, we are looking for our fans locally, and from around the world to shoot us an email with a pic outlining who they are, what they do, and why they listen to our music. I think this will be a great way for us to meet some of the people we talk to over email and get to meet some people who we wont normally get to at shows
. In addition to being chosen as our FOM, we will send out a little package with some merch and other good stuff in it. We will post your pic and story up on the site for the entire month.
Heres how to enter
Send an email to thekilligans@hotmail.com with “killigans FOM” in the subject line.
In the email include
-a picture of yourself, or whoever is entering
-name
-where you are from
-how you found the killigans
-what you do..school, work, whatever
-whatever else you might want to say about yourself or the killigans
Eventually we will have a form up on the site to make it easier, but for now, we will do the email thing.
