the Killigans head into the studio beginning this week, to record their highly anticipated follow-up to “Brown Bottle Hymnal.” You may have noticed that we didn’t play very often this fall, and the few times we did, didn’t seem to have any new songs. Well, guess what? We’ve been saving them up to blow your mind.

We’ll be recording over a dozen tracks, the final number for the album to be decided when we wrap it up. This album will run the gamut from balls-out rock to tear-jerking ballad, from country bumpkin to Celt punk - and everything in between! We are pulling out all the stops, and we will give you one hell of a thrill ride when we’re done!

We are also playing a show on NEW YEAR’S EVE that should leave you shredded, cock-eyed, and ready for love. We’re talking about the best show of the year, with all our new songs to boot! One of Lincoln’s finest bands, DOMESTICA!, will come on first to crush your feeble bodies in to a fine powder, which we will douse with beer and stir into a mud-like putty, then we will mold you back into the fine people you once were, with the added benefit of just being rock’d up, and maybe knock’d up, by the Killigans.
