Sunday August 19th, Duffys 8PM, 18+Philly native Erik Peterson brings Mischief Brew back to lincoln to join the killigans in a night of folk punk mayhem. Presented by IronBrushTattoo www.ironbrush.com and Eyeskull www.eyeskull.com
from www.myspace.com/mischiefbrewEmerging from pist-off Pennsylvania punk rock troupe The Orphans, Mischief Brew was started with a single scratchy demo tape by Erik Petersen…utilizing such instruments as acoustic guitar, 12-string Bolivian mandolin, junk percussion, yo ho ho, and a bottle of rum. It ‘grew’ into a one-person band/acoustic act in the vein of Billy Bragg, Stan Rogers, or Woody Guthrie…and nowadays, you never know what to expect. From a live three-piece punk/folk parade to a multi-piece studio experience with accordions and marimba…Mischief Brew aims to keep you on your boot-tips with a chaotic sampling of pirate-swing, gypsy-jazz, and polka-punk. In the mood? Tune in on the heart of Saturday night at a basement or bar near you…
Ifn you dont know who these guys are, please please check them out. They will not disapoint….Very Billy Bragg-ish, and not to mention the killigans first real lincoln bar show in about 2 -3 months. And its early. no need to worry about not getting up for work monday. screw work!
added a bunch of shows - shop kinda open - more news as it comes
Sorry for the lack of updates and news and what not on this site. We are currently experiencing online difficulties and hope to have them ironed out soon. In the meantime, please check our myspace page for accurate show dates and whatever else
Our next show is at Ribfest here in Lincoln NE. We play thursday august 9th, at 7pm. This is an all ages event, 5 dollars at the gates. All I can say about this event is, it brings in the best barbeque from around the USA, and thats not a bad thing. We will try to remember the wetnaps this year.
Next show….
July 20th. Ottos Nightclub in Dekalb, IL(about 1 hour outside chicago). With The Goodyear Pimps. Awesome rock/jam/funk/punk band…www.thepimps.org 9pm show

Well yeah, you read it right, our good luck of not having an injured member for about 3 years now finally ran out. And no, it wasnt a skateboarding, snowboarding, drunken fighting, work related, or anything cool type accident. Zach shut his own fingertip in a car door. Yeah, plain, simple, boring car door on the finger trick. Sorry we couldnt be cooler. I will post some pics of this disgusting, bloody digit soon. The fingernail comes off at practice tonight. Maybe get some video footage of that for your viewing pleasure. But its broken, and its a good thing we have about a month off from shows for him to heal it up.
Next show….Ottos Underground in Dekalb IL. www.ottosdekalb.com
Dont forget to buy the new album www.interpunk.com www.cdbaby.com or right here in our own extra special store.

next show is:
Thursday June 14th, late show at Knickerbockers. CD release for Lincolns, THE HOOLIGANS. We will play before them obviously…sometime around 10ish…
After that, its up to Ottos in Dekalb Illinois on our way to crash a friends wedding(and play some music too) That ottos show is July 20th.
We have been getting some good reviews on the album…looks like its holding up to Brown Bottle Hymnals standard… www.shitenonions.com look under “reviews”
